Drivers Seat

Where I work, there are a few aspiring photography artists. Everyone once and a while, we will organize a little photo walk, technical class, or just a photo get together. We like to practice our techniques, help each other out, give feedback and generally help each other to improve.

On one such walk we went to Wheeler Historic Farm. This is a great place to bring kids, family, and friends to enjoy a taste of life as it once was.

  1. Haven't quite decided how I like the over-saturation. Did you process it as an HDR, or is it just high-saturation? Overall, it is a good idea, however I think it is too busy. Personally, I'd crop it between the seat and steering wheel (maybe a 1/3 to 1/2 way above the seat, if that makes sense).

  2. I'm a bit confused. You took this? I really don't know anything about photography but I really, really like it.

  3. @Aaron, yeah, I played around with the saturation to give it a slightly surreal look. I also added some soft focus around it.

@Erin. Yes, I took this picture at Wheeler Farm. I did some post production (ie, photoshop) editing to give it a different feel.
